I have become so caught up in the stamping world lately that I've started to miss scrapbooking. Well, I kind of combined both tonight. My son is really starting to become a wonderful artist. He just started drawing people this year after finding some Manga videos by Mark Crilley on our On Demand channels. He has been drawing robots and different scenes since he was little. When he was in 3rd grade I remember him drawing pictures that were 3D looking. I still can't draw like that. Anyway, I am super proud of him!!!
I took his most recent drawing and colored it with my Copic's and then I scrapbooked his class photo with it.
Here is the result (I am also including his b&w drawing.)
Thanks for looking!
Hugs, Tracy

Tracy - oh my gosh - your son is a wonderful artist and you colored the drawing perfectly!!! Wow - how exciting!!
This LO is gorgeous! I love the way you did the title!! And his drawing is so cool!!!
Well, knock me over...that looks even better than I imagined it colored. :) His design is fantastic, but the coloring puts it over the top.:)
now you have to teach him to color..all the best manga artists do it. :)
i agree with christy. your coloring just takes his great drawing to a way cool drawing. you two make a great team. & that is a nice school picture. but i thought the not smiling thing in pictures wouldn't start until high school. lol
Tracy, what a fabulous LO, and the coloring just makes the page. Remember, if you teach him to color with Copics, you're either going to have to get him his on set, or share yours. I'm betting he'd grasp the coloring concept FAST.
WOW Tracy - that really is something else - it is amazing and teamed up with your fantastic drawing - OMG! Seriously, its great. You've done him proud - and he's made a great image.
Love his photo = soooo reminds me of my two boys... couldn't care less if they took the photo or not - 'just get on with it' attitude - thought it was just mine that were like it!!!!
