Every week I do a layout or two for the LID Challenge on the Cricut Messageboards.  This is my interpretation of the layout.  I used My Minds Eye "For Storytellers..."paper stack, Fancy Pants "Papa Cart Set," a Creative Imaginations sticker for the date, a TPC Studio "School Days Sticker Sheet" for the pencil sticker, Accent Essentials for the journaling tag on page 2, and Alphalicious for the title and "Back to School." I don't always follow the LO's exactly...I usually don't have enough photos for a lot of their LO's.

I am so happy with this!  This is now one of my favorite pages!  I used six sheets of double-sided paper from K&Comany's Urban Rhapsody design. There are a total of 12 one-inch strips weaved together here.  I used a variety of eyelets and ribbons.  The title is from Stamping Solutions and the dragonfly on the left is too.  The other dragonfly is from Home Decor.
On the right you can see the one-inch strips I cut. I started the weave from the bottom and left side of the 12x12 (and I did them on a blank 12x12. I used a glue dot runner to adhere the strips.  I only glued the strips along the four edges of the 12x12 and I only glued the bottom strips so that I could manipulate the rest of the strips and tighten them as I went along. The weave was tight enough that I didn't need to glue any of the center strips down.
This is the result of my weaving.  I had to trim the top some...but since this was my first time trying this and not really knowing what I was doing...I'm not too upset that it isn't perfect : )
This is after I added the eyelets and ribbon.  I have my cuts ready to be placed on my page...just trying to figure out where I want them.  It was hard to even put them on there since I love the way the weave looks!!!
I placed an eyelet on the top/center of each 1x1 square and I used a different color eyelet in each one.

Since I just started scrapbooking three years ago and my son will soon be turning 15...I have a TON of pictures that I need to catch up on.  I tend to jump from doing a page with current photos to doing some from when my son was a baby. I guess that I scrap by mood :)
I used the same papers and stickers from yesterday's blog post.  I used Sweet Treats for the 6.  I used my glue pen and glitter to add a border to the title (which is part of the 12x12 paper.)  I also used them to fill in the Happy Birthday that I embossed with my Cuttlebug.

On this page I used Creative Imaginations print paper, Best Occasions Glitter and Metallic paper, and  misc solid papers.  I found stickers that match the print paper and they are called Sweet Shop by ATD (I used a cupcake and a piece of candy from the sticker sheet.)  I used Sweet Treats for my cupcake, Rock Princess for "my alter-ego," and Storybook for my title.  I tried using some Tear-ific Tape (that I picked up at CHA) for the border at the bottom of the page...I like it but it is more transparent that I wanted it to be.  The blue-green flower I picked up at Cafe Crop.

This is the front and back of an accordian book.  I took school photos from each year and put what grade he was in.  It was a great gift for my mom because she was running out of room on her walls with all of her photos of her grandkids!

This is a work in progress...but I love these papers!  These are from Reminisce and are called Retrobot. I don't intend to put photos on the framed-out papers near the photo...but I do plan to add something to the top left side of the page.

This is one of my favorite pages!  I used Bo Bunny's Mama-razzi papers, Tim Holtz Lost and Found papers, Tim Holtz Film Ribbon, and Lyrcial Letters for my title!

I love these papers!  They are from Glitz Design and are called Rebel.  The sticker is from the same line and Me is cut from Lyrical Letters.

My friends and I share stacks sometime...so I don't know which line these papers came from but I love them!  I cut the border on the left using Gypsy Wanderings and the flower towards the center of the page is from that cart too!  My title is from Graphically Speaking.
My son is obsessed with video games so I love this paper!  It is from DCWV and is called The Generation Tech stack.  The 'MOM' and 'Don't know don't care' are from Rock Princess!  This is the first page that I got to use my Cuttlebug on...I used Tim Holtz Checkerboard folder on the title.

Of course you do!  My friend Casey picked up this item last week and I fell in love with it!  So I got one to give away for my secret giveaway item!  I used Casey's to show you what it does.  Here are the two items I'm giving away tonight at 6:30pm (cst)...

The pink ATG gun is the main prize and the large cupcake border punch is the secret giveaway.

You still have time to scroll down to the actual giveaway post and enter for your chance to win (details are in original post)!
And, thank you all so much for commenting and/or following me!  I really appreciate it.

Guess what?  The winner of the cupcake punch didn't contact me by yesterday...so that means I picked a new winner...

Congrats to Aud1inok who said...
"I have been a wanna be scrapper for about 5 years now. Once in a blue moon I sit down and get to make something. I keep saying when life slows down I'll really get into it. My favorite tool would be the cuttlebug!
Thanks for the giveaway and I'm a new follower."

Please send me an email with your shipping information to tracygp@comcast.net

If you do not contact me by Monday, October 5, 2010...I will pick another winner.

Giveaway info was posted on Friday and winners will be announced on Monday night...
(also, everyone should be able to comment now...even if they do not have a blog.  I apologize if you tried before and were not able to.  I'm still trying to figure out everything on my blog and all of it's settings.)
