Well, a little about me anyway...
I hope you are all loving the new look of my blog as much as I am!
It is exactly what I've been picturing in my head for quite some time now.
First, I have to say Happy Birthday to my Daddy!!! He is the big 75!!! I love you dad!

This weeks Tiddly Inks Challenge is called Just Be Me and so I have made a card that is about ME! I had bigger and better ideas for my card but if I ended up doing all that I wanted to do I would have ended up with a 12x12 card...lol. So here is my simplified version. It isn't exactly what I envisioned but I do love it!

| I used Autumn Bugg from Tiddly Inks. I also used the Rock Princess (how appropriate) Cricut cartridge for the title. The paper was really reflective so it was hard to get a good photo of everything. |
So, I just had fun making this card...which describes me well. I love to have fun and laugh, I love to be different and think outside of the box...which is why I spent the night playing with black duct tape! I made two little bows (in the top left and bottom right corners) out of duct tape and one of them I put a brad in the center. Anywho...
I chose my title based on how I feel I am divided.
First and foremost, I am a MOM...my TI image reflects this because I spend half of my time with my hand on my hip asking "is your homework done?" But I have my wings on to help me fly through all the chaos that seems to constantly come up with having a teenager. Plus my wings always flutter when my son is near me.
Next, I am a WIFE...my TI image reflects this because the other half of my time is spent with my hand on my hip waiting for my husband to fix something or arguing with him over what movie to watch. The man only watches scary movies and I as I mentioned before I love to laugh so I want a comedy. He always wins...because he is more of a sore loser than me. hehehe... And then the wings represent my love for my hubby because he makes me feel like I am floating when he is near.
Lastly, I chose Rock Princess because I just have this wild streak that runs through me and (besides crafting) music is my passion. Although my favorite music varies from Frank Sinatra to the Beastie Boys to Tool...it just makes me feel alive. Besides other than being with my family (and friends), there is no better feeling I get than when I listen to music. So my TI image is rockin' out to some Fall Out Boy (cuz' that's what I was listening to when I made my card.)
I added the crown because...dammit...I am a princess! LOL =D
I had a ton of other metaphors I was putting in to this card, but it would just take too long to list and it's 1am and I'm getting tired.
Here is the inside of my card which is mostly duct tape...lol. I made another little bow and then wrote out "uniquely ME...Tracy" because I feel as though I am very unique. I've never met another soul who shares everything in common with me. My hubby is the closest I found...LOVE HIM! The photo really doesn't do the inside justice. In person it looks really cool...and punk rockish...which was my goal! =D I didn't want my card to look perfect...because that is the last thing that I am. Plus, it is a card that I made for me...since I'm not giving it away I don't mind that it isn't super pretty on the inside.

Tracy - WOW girl - not only is the card wonderful I love how much thought you put into it!! Great Tiddly to use for all your wonderful roles!
