I have actually been pretty busy lately.
I spent a few days working on a 2-page spread that I sent off to Cricut Magazine for submission. I don't really expect it to make it in the magazine...but I would rather try to do things and be told no, than to completely pass up a possibly great opportunity. I try to live my life that way. So, I am not allowed to share those pages with anyone (at least until I'm rejected...lol.)
I also have really fallen madly in love with The Greeting Farm stamps. I have been dedicating a lot of time to stamping and learning how to use my Copic markers. I just took a beginners class on the Copic's at my local scrapbook store on Saturday (I have never used them before.) It was a ton of fun and I even got to use the Copic airbrush gun! That is now on my ever growing wish list! Luckily, hubby wants an airbrush gun too...so it's a definite possibility (my hubby is an artist--not professionally--but he has an amazing skill.)
So, back to my Greeting Farm obsession...I bought my first set "My Guy Ian" on ebay from Simon Says Stamp (SSS) (only ebay because I had a credit on my Paypal.) I received my stamp on Thursday and SSS gave me a $5 off coupon for my next purchase...so I went right back and ordered the "Sweet n Toxic" set...I LOVE them and can't wait to get them! I couldn't buy just one so I ordered "Dahlia" too! Let's just say that my collection is growing rapidly! I was very excited today though, when Casey & I went to a Stamp & Scrap store that just opened yesterday and I saw that they had The Greeting Farm (TGF) stamps there! I "gasped" really loud and the people that worked there starting laughing at me (in a good way.)
For World Card Making Day, I made my second card!!! I made a card using my "Jack" TGF stamp and rather than writing a short sentiment on there, I printed out the lyrics to one of my favorite songs. It turned out awesome!!! My husband complimented me right away saying that I have a "knack for color" and he was very impressed with it.
I can't post it here yet, because I entered it on TGF's facebook page for a contest and I can only post it there. If you want to check it out, here is the link

I hope you take a second to check it out!
Well, I will be posting more tomorrow. I am working on something right now...AND...no one has claimed the cupcake punch yet (only a little over an hour left for it to be claimed!) That is two different people in two weeks. That punch is adorable!!!
Well, I hope you all have a great night and check back tomorrow to see what goodies I have.
Thanks, Tracy
