I did both of these layouts for the LID Challenge on Cricut's Message Boards.  I hope you enjoy...
I used regular cardstock for my background, Bittersweet by Basic Grey for the print paper, and Core'dinations black/red cardstock, my Cuttlebug folder for the dots, and some sandpaper.  I used Songbird for my title, Serenade for the butterfly, and Accent Essentials for the flower (I curled it up by rolling it around a pen...thanks for the idea Traci.)  I also used a vellum quote from a vellum quote pack.  Also, I actually sewed the stitching down the center...I'm not too handy with a sewing machine...lol!
I have horrible lighting in my basement (scrapcave) so here is another view in different lighting.

LOVE this layout, Tracy! It all came together so beautifully...and I think your stitching is awesome,by the way! I gotta try that sometime :) The title is so pretty, too. It goes with your photo perfectly! Well, you just sold me on Songbird now...off to ebay I go :) lol!

Sorry for word verification but I've been getting a ton of spam lately. Hope that doesn't deter your comments! Thanks!
